wait you werent kidding oh my gosh dude
Yes I've ordered 1000+ magnets to magnetise my speed tuttminx.
I've just received my speed tuttminx today and I'm going to magnetise it. As I looked into the internal mechanism, I found that its easier to magnetise than I expected. However, I will need more than 1000 magnets to magnetise it including some magnets with custom size, so I will have to order the magnets I need for my tuttminx. Also in case you didn't know, the hexagonal faces on tuttminx should only be turned 120 degrees instead of 60 degrees, and I have already figured out how to make the magnets click into place only in every 120 degrees for the hexagonal sides.

For square-1, where should I start from? Should I start with the parity alg first? Or should I start from somewhere else?
I watched Tingman's video. From there, what I did was I solved with an alg sheet in front of me for EO, CP, and EP (CO is intuitive). I then went on to learn these algs by memory, starting with EO (you only need to learn the M2 algorithm and the one-edge swap algorithm). Then I learned T-perm, Y-perm, and a U-perm for PBL, by doing one layer at a time. I then memorized parity, and could do square-1 without any alg sheet! Hooray! Then when I wanted to get a bit faster I learned the CP algs, and am now learning EP. I am not very advanced (around 45 seconds), as I only started a couple weeks ago, but these are my tips.

Which alg should I learn first?
V perm: F’ U F' U' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F
OH Z perm: R' U' R U' R U R U' R' U R U R2 U' R’

Plz tell me if there are better algs

You should definitely not use that V perm. I know you said no D' moves but then at least use R' U R U' R' Fw' U' R U2 R' U' R U' R' Fw R. It is faster than the one you put there, and it has an antisune in it so that makes it easy to learn.

I was originally in the first place of the waiting list of my first comp on the coming Saturday and I suddenly got accepted this morning.

I have these algs left to learn before the comp:
- V perm
- OH Z perm
- Square-1 parity

V perm is the most important for me as it is the last alg for me to complete full one-look PLL.
For OH and square-1, as I don’t think I can make the cut off, I will just do the first 2 solves. In case I got these cases, I just want to make sure that I’ll be able to complete the solve.

Any suggestions on how can I learn these algs by tmr?
