Fastest Nine Fingered Cuber in the World?

A friend of mine has been cubing for a relatively short period of time (he is around the 32 second mark). However, he is completely missing the middle finger of his right hand, which affects him on certain algs.

We wondered if he is the fastest nine fingered cuber in the world, given how infrequently you run into the digitally challenged.

I asked around a bit at the UK Open and found that there are several cubers who only have one hand who are extremely fast at OH, and there is another cuber who has only one or two fingers on one of his hands who is also very quick, but my friend and I were specifically interested in whether anyone knows of a sub 30 second, nine fingered cuber, preferably with an idea of the person's average.

Basically my friend would like to become the fastest nine fingered cuber in the world and wants to know where the benchmark currently is. Hope you guys can help with this slightly odd request.

Oh yes, just in case you were wondering, he once played basketball without taking off his ring. Did a slam dunk, the rest is history. Kids, let this be a lesson!

Cheers guys, look forward to your responses.

I don't know any 9-fingered cubers, but I've senn a 6-fingered guy in one of MeMyself&Pi's or Camcuber's videos (I think he had a 17-19 average back then (like me now :D))... Can't find it, sorry. But good luck @ you and your friend! :D

I don't for a moment suggest it would be meaningful title to achieve, we just wondered. Perhaps at best it will make for an interesting T-shirt.

Yeah, I don't think I know any people with exactly 9 fingers, doesn't seem all that common. But if you want to compete with people with fewer fingers, Dan's right - Emerson is easily one of the best out there.

Also, Sam Nave's hands look awesome. Also also, I just did an 18ish avg5 without using my pinkies, and some sub20 solves ignoring a middle finger or an index finger; it was harder than I expected but I do think sub20 is very doable if you are missing a few fingers.

Does anyone know of any polydactal(more then 10 fingers) cubers? That would be really nice if I had functional fingers for cubing!

I've only ever met one person who was born with 6 fingers on each hand (5 fingers and a thumb, w/e), but they were removed. I assume they were removed basically when he was born, but at the very least early on in his life.
