Fast method with little to no algorithms?

I'm currently using the Petrus method but my best average up until now was around 35. I've always been hanging around 35 and it isn't getting better anymore. Block-building isn't really my specialty either but I'm using Petrus because it's been the fastest method for me so far. The beginner's LBL method gets me 45-50 and so does the keyhole method.

I looked intro Fridrich but it the F2L has way too many algorithms, to say nothing about the OLL and PLL (but those have a 2-look system, which I am already using), Roux seems good till step 3: way too many algorithms to learn (CMLL or COLL, both are much algorithms).

Are there any other methods that are fast, quite easy to pick up, but require little to no algorithms?

Kirjava did what, sub 15 using Roux with only Niklas and Sune?

Ninja'd...

First off, you will need to learn lots of algs if you want to get faster, thats just how cubing works.

I suggest Fridrich (like most people) as the fastest cubers all use this method. Also, F2L has no algs if you want to do intuitive F2L, which is just as fast as algorithm F2L once you master it. Fridrch is easy to pick up, I learned the basics of intuitive f2l in a day or two. And obviously, the best way to get beter is practice.

F2l does not have algorithms, i average sub 13 consistent and occasional sub 11 and i don't use any algorithms.... its pretty intuitive

You dont have to learn algs to learn F2L, but yeah OLL and PLL, if you dont wanna learn algs then Fridrich is not for you. I dont know other methods, so i have no idea what to do, if you dont wanna learn algs.

If you use full-fledged Fridrich (with non-algorithm F2L), realize that you will be learning a lot of algorithms AND will have to learn to perform intuitive algorithms quickly. However, since you already use 2-look, it may be useful to you to pick up intuitive F2L. Since you've already learned a little bit of blockbuilding from Petrus, it probably won't be as hard as you think. Otherwise, you could just stick with Petrus or switch to Roux. Don't learn Heise unless you're looking for good FMC results, especially if you don't like blockbuilding.

It's easily possible to sub-20 without algorithms, and sub-15 with very few algorithms. It's more important to have a good look-ahead and a fairly constant turning speed.
Roux doesn't involve many algorithms. Petrus doesn't use very many algorithms. I think I could probably sub-20 with 4 algorithms.

I'm pretty sure if you go onto youtube you'll find quite a few sub-10 solves using Roux.

What? I thought you had to learn algorithms to get better!?

I teach people 4 look LL with only 3 algorithms... the rest (cross and F2L) I teach them intuitive... and the fastest someone avgs. now is 35 sec.
