"Made by the creators of WD-40"

Well, Whenever I use this lube (it doesn't matter whether I pop and edge then spray it or fully disassemble it) it makes the cube feel gooey, makes it unable to cut corners and lock-up a lot.

I've never tried Jig-A-Loo but some people say that it "glues" your cube together if not broken in. Well, this lube "glues" my cube together as well, just not to the point where I can't move it... it just locks-up and can't cut corners...

So does anyone know :
Why this is happening
What results they got when they used it
or know another lube that can be easily found in Australia,
please let me know :D

I've used this lube, there's nothing too bad about it. You need to let it dry for a long time, i find that brings aybout the best results. But, Jig-A-Loo, although you haven't tried it, is a billion times better than 3-in-1, IMO. There always is the slight chance of cubies gluing themselves together, but just solve it a couple times before you set it down.

It's not about trusting the WD-40 company. Do you think that they made this lube especially for cubing? No, I don't think so. Same with Jig and CRC. That's why maru, and Lubix, and probably some other lube made for cubing I don't know about, performs with almost no risk, and amazingly.

I dunno if it's just me, but your posts are really annoying me. My recommendation is to lurk moar, then maybe your posts will be a little more intelligent.

WD-40's products all contain petroleum distillates. And as we all know, petroleum will literally dizzolve the inside of your cube.

Hes already been warned by DavidWoner that if he posts in this one thread he is going to get banned. So its not just you he is annoying. I happen to agree with you

Just saying.

Seriously I don't think it's worth using that lubricant. I tried it out and yeah it was sticky for ever, and when it dried it was nothing special. Go with CRC if you're looking for a cheap no-frills lube, otherwise go with Lubix for sure.

Ok, I just checked.. and this lube DOES HAVE PETROLEUM =.=..

Anyone have any other online or australian lube recommendations?

CRC 808 is one of the best Aussie Cube lube out there. Try bunnings, big W, Kmart and any other automotive store you can think of. Usually the same place where you can find WD-40.

Where about in Australia are you from.
