My rubik's DIY kit has no "large washers" and only 4 "small plastic washers."

I am under the impression that I should have 6 of each.

What happens if I assemble the cube anyway? (I plan on calling the company, too, of course).

Usually I'd assume that I lost the pieces (as tiny as they are), but I only opened the package 5 minutes ago and know I have lost nothing.

Well, for rubiks DIY kits, there is no large washers (it's almost like there's a washer welded into the screws already, which is what cube4you.com try to imitate with screws+large washers).

For me...I'm missing a center cap from the kit :(

small plastic rings.

but I believe Harris has solved my problem... thanks.

HOWEVER, now I'm having trouble making the cube suitably tight. Perhaps if I get a better screwdriver I'll be able to tighten it more.

I don't suppose NOT having the centercaps on has any effect on how loose the cube is, does it?

At the moment the cube is popping and getting stuck constantly.

With my Rubik's DIY when the the caps were not on, since the centers were then thinner, the holes in the edge pieces would sometimes overlap the centers. It bugged me when trying to adjust tension with the caps off.
