Division between sticky/nonsticky threads

While I like the new design in general, I've gotten used to the clear division between sticky and normal threads in the old layout. It was easy to see which posts are actually new in a subforum. Now the stickies are just a slightly different color and it's hard to tell them apart at a glance. Can we get a little more separation between them?

Thanks. (Though I realized the color distinction I was complaining about was only an issue on a CRT monitor. On my laptop screen the contrast shows up much better.)
