I'm not Discomantis, but I think I can answer the question:
If it is a small click, it is fine, but if it is big, it could mean you reassembled it the wrong way.

Check to see if you have a loose corner to core magnet.

Perhaps take the corner caps off to see if a piece broke inside the cap.

I did drop my tensioning tool in cereal, so I can't adjust stuff.

Ok. I find it weird as before I went to comp, only one magnet made that noise, and now every side except one does. I don’t know why, as it's brand new. But I'll check. How do I tell if I have a loose corner?

Take apart the cube and you can see if a corner to core magnet is missing on the corner.

That's impossible, as it was fine 2 days ago. But I might as well check, and maybe lube the cube.

I tried changing the GES nuts, but once I take a nut out, I can't get it off the tool thing. Any idea how to get it off?

Perhaps you could try this:

Other than that I don't really know what could be causing this.

Perhaps you could try asking somebody else if this doesn't fix it. I'm very bad at hardware related things.

Fixed it, hopefully permanently. It was indeed a corner magnet stalk. There were 3 corners at fault. I noticed that when the corner moved away from a core magnet, the “faulty” stalk moved back into the corner, and when that same “faulty” stalk came in contact with a core magnet, it got pushed forward a bit, and those 2 things made a ”click” noise. I found 2 fixes to this, one was to out a very tiny piece of paper inside the stalk/corner hole, and one was to use a tool to fully twist the stalk clockwise. (Couldn’t use my fingers, it didn’t do much and it hurt a lot).

Ok, so I gave the Valk 2M another try, and I like it!

It is my new main now.

My TPS is a little bit slower on this cube but I have MUCH better consistency on this cube than my old man, the Gan 251M Pro.
