disassembling 2x2

i was recently given a 2x2 as a promo from a vendor i work with. i've ordered the normal stickers for it, but it's RIDICULOUSLY stiff. i've used the rubik's lube and 'injected' it into the center. it helped a bit but not much.

bottom line: can you take these things apart?

Depends on what brand it is, if its a Rubik's brand as i know them their internal mechanisms break quickly if you're solving them quickly, and so basically they just fall apart. If its an eastsheen i dont really know if you can take them apart. thats what i know

Yeah, mine was really stiff as well. It broke the first day I got it and I never got another.
