Different eastsheen 2 mechanism

My Black ES2 fell apart and I watched pestvic's tutorial on how to put it back together, but my 2x2 has a different mechanism. I will hav pictures soon, but is consists a corner fused to a ball type mechanism with seven corners and 9 or 10 tabs to put in. Help please, even speculations are helpful

I'd really like to see pics before I can help out...seeing that I don't know any 2x2s based on your description.

That sounds like the ES I have... is it an A2F? I'm not about to take mine apart for pics though... it took forever to get it back together the last time.

Wow. What a coincidence. That happened to me. Watch his disassembly tutorial. You have to take the "cap" things (the part with all the stickers) off of the internal mechanism and then it should look the same as his in the assembly tutorial. I was also confused, and what you described seems just like what mine looks like. You should take all the caps off and assemble the internal mechanism and then put the caps on.
