Deep Scratches on 3x3

Today I have randomly found really deep scratches on my 3x3 puzzle, they are extremely visible. Is this normal to happen or have I been really rough with it.

It seems to be some sort of black marking, just make sure your cube is in a bag that's separated from sharp/marking objects like pencils, pens, keys, knives, and other similar objects that could leave a mark on your cube.

can I remove it and what cube bag do you recommend

I don’t really use bags and my cube is fine. Just keep it away from markable areas.
Try washing it with soap, and don’t get any into the mechanism
