I also think squan is underrated. It's fun and interesting, plus a reasonable time frame.

Yes and my brain cells were torn apart. I was also using Jperms tutorial are there better ones? Charlie Eggens ones looked pretty good but I have not checked them out yet.

I started with J perms 2BLD tutorial just so that I could understand the concepts, and then moved on to his 3BLD tutorial. I think starting with 2BLD really helped as just the concepts of BLD are possibly the hardest part of basic 3BLD and he goes through them much more thoroughly in the 2BLD tutorial. Once you get used to it, memorising 20 letters isn't hard and you also get used to setup moves quickly as they are very intuitive.

obviously 3x3 has to be top tier

7x7 shouldn't be an event, not a fan of big cubes

i suck at mega and sq1, but they seem like really fun events. might get into them someday

6x6 and 7x7 shouldn't have been in the WCA. They take too long and are essentially longer 5x5 solves.

Not bad but is 5x5 really that fun because I am in a predicament in which I have the choice to buy a 5x5 or Mega,
