I just realized that its obvious that my left hand is more dexterous because I'm left handed. Should I mirror algs that I see in tutorials?

I'm left-handed and I do all algorithms normally. My right hand is actually much better with algorithms than my left.

I'm lefty but I my right hand is better for algs. But I think being lefty is super nice for f2l because my right hand is trained from cubing and my left hand feels natural normally so it makes a lot less rotations and/or awkward feeling moves.

My hands are better at different kinds of triggers, so I would suggest to try to mirror algs to left handed and see which ones feel better for you lefty. Perhaps you might find some that you are better at with your "regular" (i.e. left) hand.

As you get better you'll see what you need to do, and what is useless for you.
Personally, I have to use my left hand for R U R' U triggers during f2l, but during last layer, I can do both hands. You just have to find out what works best. Only learn the mirrors If you feel you should at the time, or if its faster for you.

Side note: Definitely learn the mirrors for certain PLLs though. It will really help.

My friend is a lefty, but he is better cubing with his right hand being the dominant one. He does do M' with his right ring finger though.

Setup:R U' R' U R U' R' U R U' R
Corner and Edge on left: L' U' L Ux3.
Sorry it took so long, I was finding the site for the setup move.

You can use the algorithm backwards as a setup. XD

LOL!! Or just y2 L U L' U.

I too am ambidextrous. Most people hear that and say "wow, you can can like write with both hands and stuff?". Actually it it not like that. When I start something new for the first time, I simply don't have a preference to use my left or right hand.

If from the start, I practice with both hands, I can truly use both hands just as well. An example of this is my computer mouse. At home it is on the left but at work it is on the right. I control my laptop touch pad with my right hand.

For other things, I can use my non-dominant hand but I will be as good as a beginner (i.e. crap). I write with my left hand but if I were to write with my right hand I would be like a baby first gripping a pen.

When cubing, I am right handed but there are many times that I take advantage of my left index finger to do a U'. This really helps in times when you don't want to do a re-grip.

One example of this is the F2L case of R'U'2R (U'with left index finger) R'UR (inserting in the BR slot)

I also use it in my J-Perm and a lot of other oll/pll cases.

Ah! Somebody else! Yes. I am ambidextrous but I practice cubing right-handed mostly. That's why I recommended practicing more with your left. I didn't know I could switch hit in baseball until my coach (who thought I batted right handed, since I threw right) made me bat left (until that point I had batted lefty). I was just a confused 8 year old so I went along with it and it worked.
My point is...you can probably be equally as good, but it's not going to be the same as your right immediately. People tend to neglect the disparity in practice time they have between hands, even if both hands have the same aptitude.
