Fun fact: the 2x2x2 cube is unsolvable if you twist a single corner. However, its 4 dimensional sister, the 2x2x2x2 might be solvable if you twist a single corner - but it depends on how you twist it! Out of the corner's 12 possible orientations, 4 of them bring the (hyper)cube puzzle into a solvable configuration (including the no-twist move).
