Cubesmith Stickers Edges Tearing

I just restickered my cube with cubesmith stickers three days ago expecting to fix the problem that I had with my rubik's stickers peeling up at the edges. However, a similar thing is happening with my cubesmith stickers, but it's just that tiny chunks are being taken out of the stickers by my nails rather than the sticker actually flaring up.

Can this be expected or is it just some weird way that my nails interact with my stickers while I solve?
