cube rotations

i cant understand them especially explain in words or just a picture like
in websites..

i need a video.

There are 2 different types of cube rotations. The easy type is the Japanese one. They are:

(r), which means you need to turn the whole cube as if you were doing R
(u), which means you need to turn the whole cube as if you were doing U
(f), which means you need to turn the whole cube as if you were doing F

These also work with primes and 2s.

Second type: Western

x, which means the same as (r)
y, which means the same as (u)
z, which means the same as (f)

I think everyone should switch to japanese rotation notation (rhyme!) because I find western rotations hard to remember.
