Does anyone know if this is the same stuff as the CRC Heavy Duty stuff that the Americans are buying?

Yes but I'm wondering if it's basically the same stuff as the CRC Heavy Duty silicone that people here talk about.

what I usually do when I get a puzzle I decide if I even need to use lube (like I don't with my pyraminx). If the puzzle turns easily and you dont think that you need to improve corner cutting then ur good. if you decide that it needs lube then decide if it turns horribly like some rubiks or well like a diy. If it doesn't turn that well then I use vaseline (petroleum jelly) while I break it in. If it turns smoothly then I use silicone because it lubes just as well and doesnt dissolve plastic. i use vaseline for bad cubes cuz it might smooth them down a little, and idc what happens to them

Has anyone ever tried Lanocote? Or powdered Graphite? Are there any other lubricants aside from petroleum and silicone that work? Because it seems like there should be more than just those two. I have also read things that say petroleum destroys cubes and that silicone destroys cubes. Is there any information about the pros and cons of each, because all the info I've found seems very biased.

Look it up? Try it yourself? Then tell us?

well i tryed powdered graphite on my megaminx and it seemed to work really well, especially for breaking it in. But it is more abrasive because it is a powder, so i dont know how it wil affect it in the long run. And lanocote is used in the sailing world, its made from sheep fur and its oils. My mom lived on a boat for some years and she suggested it. The only problem is that im landlocked in colorado, so its not easy or cheap to get ahold of.
