Cross, F2L times

Heres my times(just for F2L):
16.51, 16.88, 21.27, 17.66, 15.78, (22.81), 19.85, 19.03, 14.90, 16.90, 16.48, (13.00)


I think I do better at F2L when I'm just timing F2L, rather than an overall solve!

That 13.00 at the end, was just too smooth!! I want an F2L that fast every time! I need to work on look ahead, and getting to know more cases. And more F2L tricks!

Joey: Do you also have the breakdown of these times in Cross/Rest of F2L. Wwhat is your method? What is your full solve time? Numbers by themself don't give much meaning. Could you provide some context?

I didn't time the crosses for these solves, but I can do another average of crosses. I'll do that now.

I use Fridrich method, and I average around 30s. My LL is soo slow, around 10s. I sometimes have to do two PLLS because I dont know them all, same with OLL. Also my F2L I probably use 10+ moves than I should do.

Arnaud: Any more question? Also, I was at the UK Open 06.

No, I didn't actually compete. I only heard about it the day before, and I'd only had my cube for about 1-2 weeks, so I was at about 2minutes or so.

These are my cross times:
(02.04), 03.51, 03.21, 02.56, 04.43, 04.60, 02.64, (04.99), 02.63, 03.17, 03.66, 02.98

An average of 03.34. I think I could work on that, I need to remeber my cross better, so I can look for the first F2L.

Also, that 4.99s cross, was actually a x-cross.

Hi Harris,
two years since you wrote this. How have the times for the cross and F2L developed in avarage?

I do my F2L in about 15 seconds and my cross is 8 seconds...bah...I like roux better.
