I am trying to document what is IMO the simplest method for older Beginners, who dread learning large numbers of algorithms but who would like to be able to solve the 3x3 in under a minute. This part concerns corner swapping during PLL. The algorithm used is useful for a solving method that has less than 10 algorithms in total. I am posting this because I have not seen this in any instruction video I watched before. Your comment will be appreciated.

Corner Swapping in Beginner PLL.

Case 1
. Headlights.
Turn the top layer so that the headlights point to your right, and then do this.

(R U' L U R' U'2 L' U' L U2 L')
(R U' L' U R' U'2 L U' L' U2 L)

Case 2
. No Headlights
No need to turn the top layer. Start anywhere and just use the same algorithm as above to get the headlights, which will always be pointing to your left. Now that you have the headlights just do Case 1 to finish, ie to get all the corners fixed. The whole step can be done without looking.

(R U' L U R' U'2 L' U' L U2 L') U2 (R U' L U R' U'2 L' U' L U2 L')
(R U' L' U R' U'2 L U' L' U2 L) U2 (R U' L' U R' U'2 L U' L' U2 L)

By repeating the same algorithm as in Case 1, the Beginner can learn one less algorithm.

It seems like it's a good way to do PLL (for what you're trying to do), but the algorithm doesn't seem to work. I played around a little bit with it, but I don't see how it works. I also did a quick search here to see if I could find anything similar but I couldn't.

L is down with the Left layer (since it is clockwise) and L' is up with the left layer (since ' signals a counter-clockwise turn)
You might want to fix this mistake.

Search 'Badmephisto', his site is awesome (imo). There is a beginner tab, if you click on that, you'll see some printable docs. The 'cheat sheet' is basically a beginners two look, with two algs. It helped me greatly getting in to two look (which isn't many more algs anyway).
These days, some really fast cubers will say some of the stuff on that site is a bit outdated. But it is still absolutely relevant for non super fast solvers.

For no headlights: I stumbled on this alg; (R' U L' U2 R U' L)×2, which is a bit shorter and also easy to do without looking.

Grateful for the tip. Nice site!

Sorry about the mistake I made and thanks for trying my wrong algorithms. I have corrected the algorithm in my first post now.

Thanks. I used to have the link to a site which will let me provide an algorithm and it will show me the animation of the turns. I lost it now. If you or anyone know such a site, please share.

 Twizzle link

If you type the algorithm into this, it will show the moves. Be sure it is set to 'anchored at end' if you want it to end solved (which when you are showing an algorithm is better).
This website also shows the finger tricks for a lot of algorithms, it might be useful. https://speedcubestats.com/library/PLL

Two Look OLL and Two Look PLL work good
