Alright, for my first post I'm throwing myself out there. So for the first time I decided to record my solve on a camera. I looked at it and found I need to spend more time looking ahead and slow down. I'm curious how others think I can improve. Currently I'm the best at cubing at my school, (Got three other friends who cube) and it's best to learn from people who are better than you. I'm looking for some constructive criticism and maybe some encouragement.
Thanks for watching.

As the video says I got 38.72 seconds, I used the Jnet cube timer for it. As for my method, I'm using an intuitive Fredrick F2L with a newly learned 3 look last layer, which I'm not too good with yet. Help would be appreciated.

Edit: Dang, I chose the time when Youtube is down for repairs, so you guys can't comment on the video. =P

Try working on your look-ahead. You are taking too many pauses.
A good way to do that, is solve really, really, slow, but constantly look ahead while doing that.

When I was averaging 50 seconds or so, I started doing those slow solves, around 2 minutes or so, but constantly looking ahead. Then go a bit faster and faster. By the time I got up to normal speed, I had knocked about 5 seconds off my time, because of very few pauses.

Eventually, that becomes totally natural.
