Competitior profile video's

[Erik]

Recently I saw some of the WJF (World Juggling Federation) Competitor Profile Video's. Here some competitors tell who they are and what their story is along with a lot of video material of their best tricks.
An example:

All of those video's are hosted by the Youtube account of the WJF itself, but I think they are not the ones who make the actualy video's while I'm sure they have certain limitations on what the content of the vid is.

Any nice idea for cubing?

Where's the video?

[Erik]

Sorry made a mistake in the code, it's good now

[Mike Hughey]

Eh, I don't like the idea. It'll be hard for anyone else to be able to make a more entertaining video than Dennis. (All he has to do is use Hadley's reactions video.)

I've met Jason Garfield before. I was disappointed when he didn't punch me.

[Erik]

Wow I'd be honored to meet him once, I'll ask him if he wants to punch me and then sign the big red spot

Just laugh and ask about the apples. Then he will

[Alex DiTuro]

That's pretty awesome! I can juggle but not like that!

I like the idea for speedcubing. You should get the party started.

Massive Bump For Thoughtful Response:

Is there anyone who would want to do this?
You could introduced yourself, and then show the some good solves of yours (no scrambles or inspections, probably no long reactions), maybe just the last 4 or 5 seconds of the solve.
You could say the 'events'/puzzles you practice, and then cut to a mini-montage of your best videos with that puzzle.

Any takers?

I might. Lord knows I'm bored enough.

This would be great for this website.

If someone had a video about themselves like the above one, they could change their current YouTube link over there to the left to a link of the video.
Otherwise, they could just link to their profile.

This would also be nice for the WCA to have, in replacement of the photos.
