I'm really confused, when I'm doing cross I get colours mixed up, how do i remember colour orientation? white is on top atm (should i do cross upside down for f2l lookahead? and how) like how to remember orange, green then red then blue, ugh so confused, please help xD

You really need to know where all colours are. So if white is down (do your cross on D!) and orange on front (for example), then blue is on right, red on back, green on left. You have to know this by heart (it took me a while too :p )

It's easy to remember that blue and green are opposites, and orange and red are opposites (cause the colors are kind of similar). As for where they go, I just remember that when white is on the bottom, and blue is in front, then red is on the right. If you practice it enough, you'll eventually get used to it and won't even have to think about it.

yeah I know the opposites, hmm the right and left is what I have trouble with. Also I have so much trouble with white cross at bottom cause i cant really see and I lose my algorithms, have to mirror them ugh, any help with that? anyone who had this experience before?

Well not being able to see the cross shouldn't matter because you're supposed to know the moves from inspection...

you can remove the four central lid of the cube.
i think it is better for you to do the cross down and then you can look for F2L pairs easiliy.
