im using japanese colour scheme (mainly because i like seeing blue next to green...) and im found that distinguishing between orange and yellow (especially on a white cube IMO)can be hard sometimes

so does anyone have any suggestion on what shades of stickers i should try to reduce recognition issues?

so far i managed to block out most of the white pieces, its just that yellow and orange look kinda similiar on a white cube

i want a darker orange to match with the red side and fluorescent yellow to go with the green. but again, orange/yellow is kinda a problem for me

maybe i need to start using black stickers:(

or even purple:D

:(so ive figured...but recently ive been practicing cfop for a bit since some of my friends just started fridrich, blue is quite a nice colour during f2l

but yeh..i guess ill have to switch back to normal scheme soon :fp
dam...stickers...

i tried to see which colours are easier to recognice for blocks and figured that i probably have to make green-yellow blocks with red and orange as front and back, cmll and eo are also very nasty...but yeh guess im just not very used to it

This is why I suggest against it - with the standard scheme you can get easy to see blocks. Also, the japanese scheme makes pseudoblocks stupid difficult.
