IS COLL worth learning?

for the last layer, isn't it faster just 2 do oll and pll? (2steps)
and can some1 tell me what coll is?
right now i think that it's just orienting the corners ( not solving)
but some edges might not be oriented

Help?!?

COLL orients and permutes corners without affecting edge orientation. So if your edges are already oriented and you use a COLL alg, your PLL will always be either an edge cycle, H, or Z permutation. Most people will say it's not worth it to learn, but for me personally my COLL/EPLL averages are faster than my OLL/PLL averages. It takes a lot of practice to perfect, but it's worth it in my opinion. The T, U, L, and H cases in particular are very fast.

I have only started COLL yesterday but I know for me it will be faster than my Fridrich solves. I can recognize the COLL cases easier than OLL and it leaves an easy permutation. I have also encountered many edge permutation skips. But for COLL to work real good you might have to learn some ZBF2L algorithms. It all depends how far you want to go. I am learning COLL because I am going to learn the ZB method.

But that's an unfair comparison, the latter is doing more. How does your COLL/EPLL compare to OCLL/PLL?

(OCLL = Orienting Corners of LL)

But for COLL to work real good you might have to learn some ZBF2L algorithms.
Or Petrus, or any other method that orients edges before LL.
