This is a great idea, but could be problematic. Minicubes have been disallowed in MBLD before because the cuber can tell which cube it is.

The cuber can tell which cube it is while blindfolded, cubes with different colors (more than white/black) should not be a problem

Basically every cuber can tell their cubes apart while being blindfolded as long as they aren't all of the same type. And we've been allowing different types of cubes for multi forever...

/edit: Another awesome way to tell them apart: They can't be all in the same spot at the same time.

Goodbye man. You have been an inspiration to me for MBLD and I am sad to see you go but I am glad that - even though it was brief - you were part of this community. You have also inspired me to participate in memory sports training and I trust that your decision will make you happy :D Good luck with everything!
*cry*

Marcin (Maskow) is not the only Polish cuber who decided to leave,
a portion of one subject:
I sold all my cubes, I left myself a "sweetheart" Colored as a souvenir. Unfortunately, recent changes to the WCA, live meeting with its representatives (Ron) brought even internal reluctance to participate in something like this

Well, good luck on your future endeavors. I know how you feel. Cubing can become boring from time to time. Come back once in a while if only to tell us about your mnemonic accomplishments. It was great having you as an active member on the forums. You will be missed, your records and mark on blind solving not forgotten.

I don't see why not. For example, a competitor can have the cubes in the following order: red, blue, yellow, green, red, blue, yellow, green and so on. When he memos he can arrange his data in groups according or associating with the colours. And besides, he can quickly determine which cube is he working on at the moment. If he's on a yellow cube for the second time, he'll be able to tell that he's on the 7th cube. Not a huge advantage, but is able to be a bit more organised with a little practise I think. I'm quite optimistic on the convenience on this extended memo system.

Bye maskow!

Really sad to see such an awesome cuber quit. Hope you'll return some day. You really smashed the barriers for MBLD...

I can actually see myself telling new cubers in a year or two that I got to see you live during Euro. And I will be very proud that I did even though we never got to talk.

Good luck with Polish got talent and who knows, you might make it to the finals ;) Also, good luck with everything you do from now on besides cubing.

We will always remember you! </3

edit: oh and about the 33 coloured cubes you have, just like people have mentioned, you can just disassemble them and make 30 single-coloured cubes. Get another 3 coloured cubes to make 36 cubes (after all why stop at 33 right :P), and all you have to buy are stickers :)

Exactly what I was thinking. 36 sets of Cubesmith stickers would only cost 45 dollars (and if you're thinking 'only' 45, how much would 33 cubes cost).
