Buying New Puzzle??

I am in the mood to own a good puzzle price doesn't matter but I don't know what to get or what brand except I do not want a 3x3 and I don't neccassarily like big cubes but own a few and (they suck) so basically i am asking what should I learn for competition and what is the best brand of it?? (excluding square-1):confused:

thanks for the help but I was looking for a puzzle that is already official so I can work on speedsolving it I'm not sure that I want to get a 4x4 though =/
