What algs do most people use for the M-heavy PLLs? I really hate trying to do Z-perms on my 5x5. The 2-gen algs look long, but are they worth it anyway?

The 2gen zperm really just turns into a flurry of fun triggers once you break it down and learn it. It's not bad at all.

Or do the optimal H: R'L' U2 RL y RL U2 R'L' (execution from the side makes it even fast on 3x3)
BTW: The 2-gen (<R,U>) H isn't that long (but I don't like it that much).

Dude, simply don't pussy around and learn the algs! ;)

Yeah, it's just a bunch of triggers and can be done really quickly.
Just learn it, it's totally worth it.

lol at everyone implying MU isn't 2gen =p

Oops! :P I meant RU 2gen, but I think we all got that.

I like the LR U2 L'R' H-perm, and the Dan Knights Z-perm (the one that starts with x' RU'R'UD). The fast 2-gen ones just cause tons of lockups when I try them on bigcubes.

I didn't even know about the optimal H! That looks nice.

I've glanced at the Dan Knights Z before but I wasn't sure about it. I think I'm switching to that.

Interesting, a tutorial on big cube H and Z PLLs. Oh wait...

I don't understand.
