Yeah i started cubing about 3 months ago and just recently got the courage the join a cubing forum.

So i've managed to learn intuitive F2L with 3 Look LL and my times have gotten down to around 32sec.

But it appears that improvement has slowed to a crawl.

Here's a video of an example solve by me, to help the real pros give me some tips:

The best thing you can do at that point, which is the stage I just recently got out of, is to slow down and practice looking ahead. You'll soon be able to look ahead while going fast.

I think 32 sec is pretty good for 3 months.. I was not even close to 32 sec after 3 months :-) Just keep practicing and be patient!

that's fast for f3 months (me 4months :)
speed up ur f2l, i think that's ur main prob. SLOW DOWN AND LOOK AHEAD~Macky
be sure to move imediatly to 3 look last layer
overall~superior (for three months)
u can easily get sub 25

I was at your stage about 3 weeks ago, what helped me most were really slow F2L parts, everytime I had no timer available. That cut another 5 seconds off of my times and now I'm at 27-28 seconds average-average (signature is out of date, have to update it soon ;) ).
Maybe you should look for some stupid F2L cases that annoy you and learn algorithms for them. But again, slow down, as I saw in your video, you raced through a single F2L-pair, then stopped up to two and a half (!) seconds (second F2L-pair) - took as long as inserting the pair.

So F2L is the part to work on, your cross looked not that fluently, too, so perhaps you should try some "blind-crosses" from time to time to practice this, but it's maybe this particular solve only.

I cannot give you any tips on last layer, maybe someone else has got some, I average about 10 seconds for 3-look last layer, currently learning Full-OLL, so maybe this can cut 2-3 seconds

hey... i got 26 secs at 1 month :p

cross not too fast.... work on that. try to have it < 3 secs..

good luck!!

Hey we have the same keyboard (except mine is HP branded, but hp=compaq)

Anyway.

I was at about 35-30 seconds after months and i was stuck there for a while.

My suggestions:
Lube ur cube
Learn PLL
Get quicker at F2L
Learn OLL

And really just practice. We all get stuck on various averages...

I use the same method as you do and average 22ish.
So there is about 10 seconds of improvement.
First things first: IMPROVE your F2l, its a really good way to shave off 3 seconds if you know what your doing.
I know saying looking ahead is kind of blank so I'll put it this way: Try and solve 2 pairs with the same consistency as one pair, that concept REALLY helped me when I was averaging 32ish.
As for your last layer, practice and make up finger tricks that fit your hands along with the algorithm your using, that will be a good advantage also.
