When I´m a few turns from finish the (white) cross (on buttom), instead of looking ahead, my attension often moves to the last step; match up the centre pieces with the cross ; D or D´ or D2.

I can often see the cross finished in advanced, but not the last step (matching up the centre pieces correctly with the cross). How is it possible to pre-plan that too without doing any misstakes?
Even with pratice....incredible.......!

Or is it a good idea (instead of using the D) use u / u`/u2 instead?!

learn your color scheme inside and out...that way you can look at one piece and know exactly what to do... in addition to that, it helps to match up the pieces to the center before moving on to the next piece.. not much of a delay but works well..

Do you always plan your cross with a predefined end position? What I mean by that is, for instance, the red face will always be in front when you start the pairs. I found that it helps thinking of the cross as back/left/front/right rather than orange/blue/red/green. This way I do plan for everything including the color matching. It actually has some implications on the cross execution itself. I might add a few moves to ensure an easier plan for the end position.

You do need to know your color scheme pretty well, it'll help with making the cross and inserting F2L pairs. It's easy as long as your cross color is always the same; you'll just pick it up eventually.

To get the first pair more quickly, look for [white] corners on the top layer while or as soon as you finish the cross, and take a quick glance at the top, front left, and front right edges for non top color edges and immidiately start creating a pair if you see two matches. Do the same for the rest and you should be fine.

No, I do not always plan the cross with a predefined end position, it depends on the case. I try to rotate my color scheme (update mentaly) depending in what position I am, cross or F2L. My own colour scheme thinking is (with on white bottom) green (day), red (sunset), blue (night), orange (sunrise).

The adjustment of the cross (setting up with the center pieces in the end) and in the same moment looking after my first pair, thats my prior problem.

I shall pracrice hard and take your advices into it. Thanks!
