Unfortunately I’ve never tried the X-Man Flare, so I can’t really compare anything to it. I’m only really familiar with the MGC and MGC Elite, the DaYan, and the Valk2 M.
Btw do you know how can I improve on 2x2 PLL? I use LBL for first layer, full one look Ortega OLL, and J perm or Y perm for PLL. I found that PLL takes over 2s for me on 2x2 even though I'm sub-5 on 2x2. Are there any efficient PLL algs for 2x2 PLL?

I’m not much of a 2x2 expert, since I average around 4.3-4.4. I noticed efficient turning on my Valk made performing algs super easy for me, but there are derinitely people who could give way better advice. @NigelTheCuber @Imsoosm

Jperm and Yperm are really good, sub 1able. Try to drill them

Not related to which 2x2 to get but related to the last few posts, is it worth using algs like R perm for when you get a solved bar on front? The R perm without D moves. Is there an alg for swapping the 2 front pieces? Also, is there an alg for swapping 2 pieces adj or opp on the bottom layer?

First question - no. Just do a U, U', or U2 followed by J perm (or T, whichever you like). R perms are bad for gripping as 2x2 is a small cube.
Second question:
Bar on bottom front: R2 F2 U' R2 U R2 U' R2 U R2
Opp: F U' R U R U' R' U R' F' R2 U' R U R2

These aren't as good as J or Y perm though, so unless you're using ortega, you shouldn't use these algs (this is why I dislike ortega, sometimes you have to do D moves or z2 rotations to do fix AUF and execute algs)
