Hi,

After using roux for about a month, I think I will switch back to fridrich as my main method. It seems like I spent countless time memorizing algs and then not being able to use them (OLL). Of course if I Switch, I will still use Roux, but not as my main method. Should I Consider switching?

P.S. Don't get mad at me Waffle :p

I would just keep practicing Roux and use Fredrich for my main (as it's a lot faster) and when your Roux times are about the same as your Fred's then in competitions, use whichever one is the best, although, it would be kind of hard to do that in 15 seconds... Hope you're fast at inspection?

(That's just what I would do... but with my Roux times in the 1:30's and my Fred's in the low/high 30/20's...)

The reason your roux solves are slow is because you've only been practicing for a month. it took me one whole year to get sub-20.

my advice would be to continue with roux and practice more. as Thieflordz5 suggested, fridrich as your main and keep practicing roux until you get your times equal to your regular solves or faster.

however I believe that its hard to get fast sooner by practicing with 2 methods.
