The issue you’re having is that you haven’t finished paring up all of the edges yet. Look at the yellow layer, you haven’t paired up the edges. You need to pair all of the edges, including the yellow ones.Does anyone know how to fix this with any algoritme always get this problem and cant find anything on it online.View attachment 30924![]()
Do you solve it later by layer or with a reduction method (Redux, Yau)?Does anyone know how to fix this with any algoritme always get this problem and cant find anything on it online.View attachment 30924![]()
He could be using a layer by layer method, in which edge pairing doesn’t exist. The issue you’re having is that you haven’t finished paring up all of the edges yet. Look at the yellow layer, you haven’t paired up the edges. You need to pair all of the edges, including the yellow ones.
Ah. I didn’t even know a layer-by-layer method existed. When I learned 4x4 I always had to pair the edges together. My bad.He could be using a layer by layer method, in which edge pairing doesn’t exist.
Doing this in 1 algorithm is not what you should do. The 2 things to do from here you could feasibly do are either finish the edges then solve as a 3x3 or do CLL ELL. I will not go over the latter as it’s not really a beginner methodDoes anyone know how to fix this with any algoritme always get this problem and cant find anything on it online.View attachment 30924![]()
K4 is very fun if you like layeringAh. I didn’t even know a layer-by-layer method existed. When I learned 4x4 I always had to pair the edges together. My bad.
You’re good. Not everyone knows about LBL on 4x4.Ah. I didn’t even know a layer-by-layer method existed. When I learned 4x4 I always had to pair the edges together. My bad.
In Redux/Yau, you have OLL parity when one edge(so two edges paired to make a 3x3 edge) is flipped. @djlimbos is either using a different method or forgot to finish edge pairing.I think the problem you're having is "parity", I personally cannot solve a 4x4, so take this with some salt.
