Last session, an EPGY camper showed me her Square-1. She could get it into cube shape and orient corners, but then she'd encounter a 1-1 EO case like:
imagesqshape.php

Does anyone know an intuitive alg for this, preferably one that can be "taught" to a non-cuber? I have several fancy ideas, but I want to find something that doesn't even require notation to understand.

I'm not sure if this is intuitive, but I use: (0,-1) / (-3,0) / (4,1) / (-4,-1) / (3,0) / (0,-1).

Its not too hard to remember.

Good luck. I've spent a lot of time trying to get EO completely intuitive (preferably so it can be done at the same time as CO) but I can't.

If you know the adj-adj edge swap, you can do a (1,0)/(-1,0) setup and then swap two yellow edges on the bottom layer and a white and a yellow edge on the top layer, fixing EO in a somewhat intuitive way. I know that the adj-adj algorithm isn't the most intuitive one out there, but it's so useful and basic (you can solve any non-parity EO/EP situation with it) that she ought to learn it anyway.
