Alternative Lubricants

Hello,

I was wondering, if there are some alternative home-based lubricants

aside from SILICONE SPRAY, PETROLEUM JELLY, GRAPHITE.

I've heard people mention vegetable oil (like for cooking), but I've not heard anyone say anything good about it. You could always try a few things, as long as you don't mind giving your cubies a good wash afterwards

I just used a thing called singer oil on my guhong and it worked amazing.
Don't worry I tested it on a crappy cube first

Other Infos:

I just bought it in Toys r Us, so its New, Rubik's Brand with Logo at white centerpiece.

Its hard to turn, so I tried Petroleum Jelly, when I remembered that Petroleum Jelly melts/destroys Plastic, so I get rid of it immediately, and later I put lubricant for car engines, because it says Multi-Purpose. xD, then there, no effect, whyyy!!! xD :fp

Most people would just order Maru lube or Lubix, though Lubix I think is just purified silicone.

My friend uses bike lube on his storebought. It is al right, I use it alot for BLD cubing in my sweatshirt during class (It is very smooth and silent). He said it wouldn't hurt the cube, but we'll see...
