... but not quite. 9.56, 9.46, 15.32, 10.77, 13.93, 11.76+.

The extra solve was because I was thinking about rolling, but after +2ing it and having a bad next scramble I stopped there.

From the scrambles pastebin:
16. 15.32 B2 R2 F2 R2 D' F2 R2 D2 U F2 U2 F' L' U2 R F U' B' R F D U'
Had I not messed up, the solution would have been:
x2 y
L D L u R' D' R'
U L' U2 L U y R U R'
U2 L' U L y' L' U' L
U R U2 R' L U' L'
U R U' R' U2 y R' U' R
U r U2 R' U' R U' r'
U M2 U M U2 M' U M2 U'
which would easily have been sub-10.

[...]

18. 13.93 D' B2 F2 L2 U' F2 D L2 B2 U' L' F L2 D2 L2 D' U' R F L2 U'
Corner twist and a huge lockup. Wouldn't have been sub-10 but should have been a lot faster.
19. 11.76+ U2 B2 D L2 D R2 L2 D U' L' U R B D R2 F' L U' R2
Did an extra solve to try to improve the average, and AUFed the wrong way.

Method neutrality is actually overpowered. Was it cfop/roux/cfop/roux/cfop? Gj inspection!
Yep, I was supposed to be doing a CFOP average to see how bad my splits were, but saw the easy Roux scrambles and decided to use Roux for those solves. This wasn't supposed to be method neutral...

and then another cfop at the end.

is cfop still faster than roux for you tdm?
Yes, it is. But although they're very similar in speed on average, I get far more good singles with CFOP than I do with Roux.

I did try using Roux last competition, but I got an 18, and then decided to use CFOP for the rest of my solves.

Still great solves Louis. But I understand the agony of almost getting that sub 10 average :) I also think you need a cube that does not lock up for you. Without the locks that I saw I think you would have a nice sub 10 average.
Thanks. I think the lockups on the 13 were due to nerves more than anything else; I don't usually lock up so much with the AoLong. I'm going to get a mini ZhanChi soon though; hopefully that will be better.
