I've been playing on the Virtual cube on csTimer for like two days now, and I realised that some problems that exist with real cubes doesn't exist with virtual cube. All moves take the same amount of time, no matter if it is a U or B move.

And my problem is that the algorithms I use are in my muscle memory. So, I need to either learn the same algorithms or learn new ones. So I had this idea that I would search for the shortest algorithms for half-turn metric. But, where do I find algorithms? Have someone else done this?

I need to find the shortest algorithms, not the most finger-friendly. How do I find them?

I need them for 2 Look OLL and PLL. Thanks in advance.

You can also gen out the optimal algs from CE yourself, if you want the unconventional ones.

Otherwise, lot of algs are shown in scdb as qwr said and in https://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/OLL.
I think the F2Ls do not change that much. Today's top solvers use a lot of risky fingertricks and efficient solutions for F2Ls.

speedcubedb has a lot of algs and also shows the STM. also it shows what gen the alg is which could be very important depending on how adept you are at hitting different keys.
One thing about that is that R and R' are different keys, so it's kind of a problem there. M is "6" and M' is ".", so it's not good having those in the same algorithm.
I am using a Chromebook, so I can't use Cube Explorer. Don't bother trying to help, I've already tried.
But that was nice, qwr. I'll look it up more.
But I also used the speedsolving wiki algorithm database. Thanks for the help.
But if anyone else sees this, or does solve the Virtual Cube, please share what you think.

In 2014 or so I used crouton to install Ubuntu on my Chromebook, which was way nicer than the default ChromeOS. I don't recommend doing this unless you have some amount of technical know-how.

It's a school computer, so I don't know if I could do it anyway.
