Hello everyone, my name is Connor Grieves. I haven't been active here for about 5 years. I have been playing with my cubes lately and have ordered some for the first time in a while, so I may be posting here again if my interest holds. I used to be decent at some puzzles, but looking at the world records now, people are getting so fast! I've fallen very far behind with around a 13-14 second average when I stopped I'm now around 20 seconds. The one record I did have, the NAR average for pyraminx, has been cut in less than half from my 7.66 to 3.01, and I can't even find a pyraminx around my house to see how slow I've gotten. But anyway hopefully I stick around, and while browsing I did see one or two familiar names. Cheers guys.

Never lived in MN, that was just the closest competition to where I live in Canada. Toronto would be about 24 hours driving, and Vancouver would be similar, but less. It was only about 14 hours to Minneapolis.

Somewhere between Toronto and Vancouver, and closer to Vancouver... so Edmonton would be closer? We're getting pretty close to having our own competitions here. We're doing our third unofficial (but run as though it's official) one on August 30th. (I realize it's probably still far, but possibly a consideration for the future)

Well, I'm from Regina, so Edmonton is probably closer, and although I won't be able to make it to the August 30th competition, I might be able to come sometime in the future
