Advice wanted for 4x4 +5x5 (Video Breakdown of solves)

4x4: You can improve on centers to average about ~15 seconds. Your edge pairing is already good. Also possibly cut off a little bit more time on the final solve.

5x5: Look ahead a little more on the edges. Try to also look ahead more during centers to find any group of pieces to match them up faster. You first 2 centers should take no more than 15 seconds, if sub 2 is your goal. Final solve is okay.

Vulosity: Just the kind of advice I was looking for. Thank you.

Rachmaninovian: There's no way in hell using fridrich will make my final solve any faster. I average like 25's with it. You are aware petrus is my main method?

Yes but i assume that it is difficult to get fast times with petrus without any examination time since, from my knowledge, the 2x2x2 block is planned out during that time. I could be wrong.. but I feel that you would save more time by doing it fridrich.

Alright fine, I'll test it out for real. 2 solves. Without inspection. On a 5x5 even. With the same scramble.

Petrus: 26.43

Fridrich: 38.78

I think that's enough to prove my point beyond doubt. There's no way that fridrich is sooooo much better than petrus that even someone who doesn't use it as a main method would do faster because it's soooooo hard to make a 2x2 and cross is sooooo fast.

Edit: just in case you somehow think it's still debatable...

Petrus: 28.96

Fridrich: 40.86

I stand corrected.
