If you want to improve a lot on f2l in a short time check the wiki and try out every case. Try understanding each case so it will be quicker to memorize it. Then just go max spamming on those cases during f2l for a couple days until you can actually execute them like Oll/Pll. Then start working on look ahead. Your f2l time will drop a lot quicker.

Learn to do cross blind fold, then learn to plan for the 1st f2l pair during the cross. If you're color neutral learn to preserve pairs during inspection.

You shouldn't really bother with special insertion tricks and such until you can do the simple things above (Well not really simple, but making the most out of things).

Solve F2L using a metronome. Make a turn of every beat start slow so you can track pieces and look ahead without missing a turn.

Your cross is good in my opinion, 3-4 rotations is indeed impressive, and yes it it possible to sub10 in a month but you'll need lots of practice, I seem to be stuck at 12 seconds in f2l for a month or so =/ maybe im not practising hard enough.

I think that getting a new cube might make your F2L drop by a second or two. It will also make F and B turns easier. If you want to get fast, you'll probably get a speedcube somewhere along the road and then you might aswell learn on a fast cube so that you're used to that

Hope this helps!

wow...sub 10 in next one month..cooll..i already practice about 8 months, and my best time is 25 (get lucky) avg 35s

haha I average 19 seconds, about 14 or 15 is F2L. Its possible, its just not likely. However, I sincerely hope you can because it would make you a lot faster and thats why we are on here xD haha

In contrast to this I average 18. 10 seconds is F2l (yes, i know full OLL and PLL), which I started with in April. A few people have done this in one month.

Just saying, it is definitely possible

That's interesting. I average 18 seconds too though I don't use full OLL. I only know 2-look OLL and full OLL
(I'm far too lazy to learn 50+ algs)
Would be interesting to see you do an avg of 12

I don't know if this will be advantageous, because I'm new, but maybe learning algorithm F2L along with the intuitive F2L. then, you could see which way would be quicker. Hope this helps, happy cubing!
