A little OCD?

I rarely leave a cube unsolved but I did so outside yesterday and now I have 2 different shades of orange thanks to sun damage.
Solve it and put it back in the sun for a while and they will end up uniformly damaged, or so I've read.

And preferring cubes to be left in a solved state is about as OCD as putting your knife and fork parallel when you've finished, or putting your shoes next to each other when you take them off, etc.

I'd say you're not unique.
You're probably in a minority on here if you can stand to leave an unscrambled cube lying around at all...

But isn't unscrambled just solved? Lol, sorry, couldn't help myself.

On topic, I guess I'm in that minority. Doesn't bother me much, although I usually find myself solving them casually at some point. Maybe it subconsciously bothers me then. :p

It also bothers me when there are unsolved cubes in people's videos... stuff like an unsolved 2x2, come on, just take 5 seconds and solve it...

I usually solve them, except for bigBLD/multiBLD dnf's, just to remind myself I'm a noob whenever I see the almost-solved cube(s) laying on the shelf.

I also need to solve them before putting them in their boxes. I also like having white showing on the little window on the box but that's only to avoid sun damage in case I leave the box in the sun. I assume that white stickers can't get sun damage :)

Heh. At work I have a 3x3 and 2x2 lying around for others to play with. I learned to keep them scrambled, otherwise people are scared of "messing them up" lol.

hehehe, nice idea.
The other day I was at a toy store and they had a v-cube pillowed 3x3 on the checkout desk. It was scrambled. I had to take it and solve it. The shop attendant didn't say a word. :)

I was solving a rubik's light in a store once :) But it was taking too much time, my kids were waiting for me... So I stopped with only 2 F2L pairs done... I want to go back to finish that solve!
