The full mo3 was 1:53+, 2:02, 1:49 -> 1:55

We think the 1:53 would've been the first WR with a +2 if he didn't get the 1:49

Not sure why i remember this, but 1:38.78 5x5 single WR by Takayuki Ookusa was a plus2.

If my memory serves me correctly, pretty sure I predicted many, many years ago that 6x6 times would get down to around 1:50, and I was largely rejected as not having a clue.

Nice solve Kevin, crazy fast. Sub 1:40 naow.

Thumbs down for the two errors made during scrambling
Thumbs up for reconstructing without the scramble and then finding the errors!

Kevin Hays - 1:49.46 6x6x6 WR single - Couve Cubing 2012

Scramble with White on U and Green on F
Hays swaps Black for White
Move counts are estimated using [wiki]STM[/wiki] & [wiki]ETM[/wiki]
All notation is SiGN
Wide and slice move examples using SiGN notation: alg.garron.us
Rotations may not be actually what was performed
Moves and rotations in ( ) are executed simultaneously (usually)
Slice moves added and cancellations removed (see "View as executed" for full solve)
Thank you to Zheng Li for providing the scramble!
Thumbs down for the two errors made during scrambling
Thumbs up for reconstructing without the scramble and then finding the errors! :tu

Guys, go and make thread in "Constructive Speedcubing Discussion". This thread is to discuss Kevin's(and Brest's too) awesomeness! Finally, his WR doesn't depend on how cube was scrambled.
P.S. Too bad I don't have a 6x6 to follow his solve :(

Thanks everyone! And thanks to Brest for reconstructing! Super cool to be able to see the solve played back. Favorite part was the Green / Black center combo and then the Black / Red center combo. I'll probably get the mean of 3 up sometime soon along with the 1:05.01 5x5 average as well.

Seems he's working on multiple centers at once, building tetris pieces and fitting them all together. This is crazy! Or maybe I'm just totally n00bish. That View as Executed is wicked!
