5x5x5 help!

Hi guys. I am just getting into solving my big cubes and i have a question. I'm really bad at 5x5x5 with beginner edge pairing method. I was wondering how fast is it possible to go using begginer edge pairing.:confused::confused:

Begginer as in the two at a time from bigcubes.com? Some world class cubers (Erik, for example) use it. Give us a link to what you call begginer edges.

I'll do a solve or two with that and let you know. I average sub-2, so it should be a pretty decent indication of how fast you can get.

EDIT: I got 1:30 for edges and 3x3 together, so add 30s for the centers and you get 2 minutes. I think if mastered, this could be taken to a barely sub-2 average, but no further. I think you should get this down, and investigate AVG or Bigcubes.com style edges.
