Here's my review of the FangShi ShuangRen. In case people don't like my videos, here's a short written summary:
Pros:
1. Fast and controllable turning.
2. Good corner cutting (and reverse corner cutting).
3. Nice/different feel.
4. M slices are really nice.
Cons:
1. Hard to tension - loose tensions lead to corner twists, tight tensions lead to poor corner cutting.
2. Catching issues due to the tensions. Different catching issues occur at different tensions.
3. Center caps are hard to pry off.
4. Can't loosen the cube TOO much since the screw head will hit the cap.
5. The cube feels flimsy.
Potential fixes: Swapping the springs to DaYan springs fixed all of the catching issues and the cube feels sturdier. However, it causes the cube to be quite stiff. I don't recommend switching springs.
Conclusion: Good cube with a nice feel but probably won't be my main due to the catching and corner twists.
Special thanks to Topher Olson for helping me make a thread. Hopefully I did it right.
