4x4 Help: What's my weak point?

So yeah....4x4 is pretty much a crap shoot for me even though I kind of practice it a decent amount, and I've got a tiny hunch that the difficulty of making a 2x2 block might actually mean something as far as a 4x4 time, final solve being half the solve and all....

Time splits include parity in final solve:

39 Redux/ 34 Final OP

35 Redux/ 29 Final OP

Yeah I suck. Anyway, are these comparable splits?( I'd prefer if you told me I just suck at the entire thing, so I don't have to work on just a section.)

I would like to see
splits like:
centers
edges
F3L
LL

Practice 2x2x2 using this:

I think your Reduction is OK and 3x3 stage is a bit slow. I'm much worse on real cube for both parts, but a bit worse for reduction and a bit better for 3x3 stage on hi-games.net.

EDIT:
splits from replay of solve on hi-games.net. Probably around *1.3 for real cube.
1st solve: reduction+fridrich, my inspection time for Petrus is still to slow.
centers: 16
edges: 28
F2L: 13
LL: 8 (NP)
Total: 65

2nd solve:
centers: 17
edges: 26
F2L: 14
LL: 10 (PP)
Total: 67

Slightly better than average, mainly the centers. I suck at centers.

Once I asked this question I was planning on doing a more detailed split showing what you said. I'll do that now I guess.

First solve:

17.55 Centers
30.59 edges
19.74 F3L (OP) remember I do oll parity during EO
7.56 LL (No PP)

=1:15.44

Second Solve:

10.94 Centers
27.89 Edges
24.09 F3l (OP)
11.23 LL (PP)

=1:14.15

Third Solve:

15.50 Centers
30.16 Edges
17.72 (Yay no OP)
10.06 (Yay no PP)

=1:13.44

Those solves are about average. Any advice? I need tips. Like....what's the trick? Do you just go down down left right up down? Is there a pattern? Can I lube my cube with chicken grease?
