I've seen a lot of people mention that he uses BH.
At least I wasn't the only person that was wrong.

I would like to apologize for contributing to the rumor. I tried not to jump to conclusions when it was first being mentioned. I think I became convinced because Yunqi Ouyang mentioned that he uses BH. I am sorry for spreading false information. Haiyan himself said he uses freestyle in one of his posts here; I guess I should have trusted him.

It would be nice if someone (Lucas, hint hint?) would reconstruct some of his solves so we can see how he does it. How similar is his style to Ville's, I wonder?

Basically I'm not surprised with his result after reading that thread last time (or that post specifically) and have been wanting to see him set an official record that is closer to his own PB.

Just thought of posting that link for those who didn't know much about him (and the videos of his practices).

Ah I thought you were talking about the 4x4x4 single since this is the BLD WR for a single solve.

He once told me that he only uses xx algorithms, somewhere between TuRBo and BH. But Colloquy logging is stupid, so I can't search (without a lot of effort) for when he told me.

It would be nice if someone (Lucas, hint hint?) would reconstruct some of his solves so we can see how he does it.

Already planning to, but not right now.

Yeah, I'm really into it and have learned some bits from a few languages (including lojban), but I'm nowhere near fluent at anything other than the two yet.
