I think QQ generated a scramble and posted it on the easy scramble thread that I got a 6ish my first time a mid 2 after practicing it a bit. It looks quite legit too.

That scramble I used is from QQ.

Yeah, the video's stupid, and he should feel ashamed, but I'm really reconsidering this flaming.

It doesn't make us better people to put him down. Here's the way I see it:

1. He's trolling. All of the comments on the video now show his success in trolling.

2. He's just stupid. Let's not forget that there are other people out there with similar videos. Submitting it to famous YouTubers isn't new either. In fact, I could say MMAP's videos on the "fastest solves ever" are the same. The videos are fake, and he's promoting them on his own channel.

I'm not saying that this video is good. I'm just saying that what we're doing, as a community, isn't really justified.

That wasn't my point, though that's true, too. Keep in mind, the forums are NOT the same as YouTube. Only cubers care about this forum. The rest of the world likes silly videos.

What happens here on the forums is becoming a representation of what we're like in real life. We're starting to carry ourselves in an arrogant manner. The public honestly doesn't care about what speedsolving is. They want to see a rubik's cube solved. Period. The video this kid made was just for fun, and it should be left at that. It's YouTube, not CubeTube or YouCube.
