3x3 Can't break 1 minute

try learning basic finger tricks and better f2l effiecency. check out some vids on advanced cross. right now i suggest working on your f2l only, your other splits seem fine. lazer0monkey has a good vid on every f2l case explained intuitively

Here are 2 casual, un-timed, easy cross, slow solves.

Scramble (white top green front)
F2 R' F2 U2 R' F2 L B2 L' U F2 B D' L B L2 R

Inspection: Unlimited
z2 y (orange front)

Cross + 1st Pair
U2 L’ U L D2

Pair #2 (Green/Red)
U’ L U’ L’ d L’ U’ L

Pair #3 (Blue/Orange)
U’ R’ U R

Pair #4 (Blue/Red)
L U L’ U L U L’ U L U’ L’

^ is there a more efficient way to do this last pair?

------------------------------------------------------------------

Scramble (white top green front)
U2 F2 L2 D L2 R2 F2 D' L2 B2 D' R D' B2 U2 R B' L' B L D

Inspection:
z2 y’ (red front)

Cross:
D

1st Pair (Green/ Red):
R U R’

2nd Pair: (Red/Blue):
L U L' U2 M L' U L U' M'

3rd Pair (Blue/Orange):
U R' U R U2 L U' L'

4th Pair: (Green/Orange):
y U2 R U2 R' U' R U R'

If you guys see anymore efficient ways to solve these pairs, I'd love some tips.

I'm using https://christianvaughngames.com/C2F2L/ for easy crosses and I can 99% of the time solve cross and first pair blind with 1 cross move. Gonna move onto 2 move crosses tomorrow!

You were the same as I do when I started learning F2L. At that time, I averaged around sub-30 on LBL. But when I used F2L my times really dropped for 30 to 50 seconds. I suggest you to keep practice and get used to the cases. It'll drop quickly without you even noticing.

Idk about why you struggle to get sub-1 minute it might be cause by your cubing hardware, or how much time you spend on cubing per day.

(Sorry for my bad English. Englosh is not my mother's tongue)

The 4th pair in the first solve can be solved with U2 L U' L' U L U' L'

I'm not sure what happened with the second solve. After the first pair, your second pair solution doesn't do anything meaningful to the cube, so you might have messed something up there. Even applying the reverse solution to a solved cube doesn't come up with anything that would be good to solve that way. Following your scramble, I would've done, after the first pair: [U2 y L U L'] [R U' R2 U R] [U' R U2 R' U2 R U' R']

Ah man! Thanks for the 4th pair tip for the first solve. Should have seen that.

As for the second solve.
Woops. I sure did mess that up. Here's the correction of what I did.

1st Pair (Green/ Red):
R U R’

2nd Pair: (Red/Blue):
U M L’ U L U’ M’

3rd Pair (Blue/Orange):
R’ U’ R L U2 L’ U2 L U’ L’

4th Pair: (Green/Orange): (green front)
y U2 R U2 R’ U’ R U R’

I like your solve better though. haha

I personally don't like using M moves in f2l, and the red blue pair was already set up for a 3 move insert, which is why I did it that way. You look like you try to avoid rotations a lot, or are just seeing the cube from one side and not realizing that you can rotate to make things easier, but definitely see if doing a rotation will make something quicker. Same thing with the 3rd pair, if you were to do a y rotation, you can see that if you pull the edge out, they are set up for another 3 move insert [y R U R'] [R' U' R]. Your solutions are good because you are doing them intuitive and not wasting a bunch of moves with your solution, but there are more efficient ones.

Well I am definitely all for efficiency! Trying to figure out the best and easiest ways to do things. You are right though. I don't like rotating. When I rotate I lose track of the few things I'm able to keep track of haha. That's why I use M moves and d moves. I only rotate on really easy cases I can recognize right away.

if you don't have the most efficient algorithm it doesn't mean its slower, a lot of people say they don't use m moves because most people find it harder to track the pieces that way, F2L TPS and moves doesn't define the time exactly u still have pauzes and such
