3x3 2Gen Example Solve Game

It's indeed more interesting but if you look at the very first post, the scramble is 2-gen but not the solution.

Anyway, I suggest we continue with 2-gen solutions.

Think about it. If only the scrambles had to be in 2-gen but the solutions didn't have to be, then what would be the point of this thread? (I'll answer that: there would be none.)

And just use context clues. What was the form of the solutions that he provided since the beginning of the thread?

EJCubed clearly said that scrambles must be either MU or RU only. He also clearly used wide moves and D moves in his solution.

Edit - was 2 minutes late, use Pyjam's scramble lol

OK, I admit it, you got me there. I honestly didn't look at all of his first solution.

But now that I go look back on the first posts, you cannot deny that, apparently, EJCubed changed his mind about what this thread ought to be about after Angry_Mob's suggestion (which was the 3rd post). Was he wrong to change his mind about his own thread? I think if he didn't change his mind, he would have rebuked us by now . . . Not to mention that his second solution was 2-gen, as ours have been.

And are all of us who thought to solve with full 2-gen solutions being unnecessarily hard on ourselves? Or are we doing what's logical?

And the thread being called "3x3 2Gen Example Solve Game" instead of "3x3 2Gen Example Scramble Game" carries no weight either?

You won the previous argument about the first post. Bravo. If you want to post a non-restrictive move solution to a 2-gen scramble (because of that first post, and only that first post), be our guest. But you're certainly not going to be teaching anyone anything (or learning anything new yourself).

First attempt failed... Here's second try:

R' U2 R U R2 U R' U R' // Domino (9)
U R2 U2 R2 U R2 U' R2 // 2e2e left (17)
R U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R U2 // Finish (25)

Next: R U R U2 R U' R2 U R2 U2 R' U' R' U R' U' R2 U' R' U2

Edit: Pyjam's above post was referencing my post in which I solved this scramble with a couple S moves and the next scramble wasn't 2-gen. I deleted it and did it correctly, 2-gen solution and 2-gen next scramble. Sorry if that caused any confusion when I deleted my above post.
