I was wondering what a good (or decent) 2x2x2 was. I had a Rubik's Ice Cube that broke, so I would prefer not to get another one. What other types of 2x2 are good? Also, where can I buy one for a good deal (or what is a good price for the cube you recommend)?

I love my Eastsheen 2x2 thats lubed with CRC silicone. BUT! I took ut completely apart and sprayed the 3x3 part with lube. (NOT THE CAPS) It cuts corners amazingly!

Have you ever tried a LanLan? I have both an ES 2x2 and an LL 2x2 and I much prefer the LL....seems the same is true for others who have both.

Havent tried a lan lan. I love my ES though! It cuts corners and is totally fast and smooth! I usually average 7-10 on 2x2 and now I average 5-6!

Quick History:

EastSheen 2x2x2s have dominated for years, and still do.
Maru 2x2x2s recently became all the rave, but quickly LanLan 2x2x2s were noted to be the best 2x2x2 for speedsolving instead.

I used an eastsheen for a while, and my best avg of 5 was 9.40 seconds.

I just got a LanLan, and the very first time I did an avg of 5 with it, I beat my old record by an entire second! This was despite the lanlan having an odd color scheme that screwed up my recognition a little.
LanLan = win
