please look at this:

3x3x3 magnetic model: https://www.printables.com/model/632446-magnets-only-3kh3-rubiks-cube-v2/comments

I made my own version of a 2x2x2 based on that project but I faced a problem with magnetic polarity

I understood that on a 3x3x3, because it is an odd cube, the magnets will always atract. but it is not the same for 2x2x2.

my model is basically a cube with 3 adjacent slots for magnets
I print 8 of those to form a 2x2x2

but look at this:

in this simulation I reach a "dead-end". because no matter what movement I do, I will always face a magnetic repel.
