Hey cubers, I am new to the forums and currently still averaging 1:30 seconds with am mixture of the beginner method and F2L (intuitive). I really dont think I am doing that bad for using the method that I am though. But anyway, I currently own 2 3x3's, 1 2x2, and 1 4x4. When I got my 2x2 in the mail I was so excited to finally get it. But does anyone have any trouble turning it? sometimes I REALLY gotta crank on it to turn it. I got it off of the Rubik's official site so I figured it would be the best. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it turn better, or a better cube all together? Thanks to all. Excited to start here at the forums!

Hey motopwn,

I bought a Rubik's brand before and it fell apart very quickly (broken). I have since bought an Eastsheen and it works beautifully. I completely recommend that. You can find one at www.cube4you.com.

as always, you should've done your research before you oredred it. i do that for everything now =P. and yes, rubik's 2x2 are terrible. eastsheens are MUCH better.

LOL swardsman. i was gonna post the exact same thing on my previous post, but didn't feel like it.

competition illegal = not sexy

My friend gave me an ice cube for my birthday. It's probably the worst cube I've ever felt! It locks up constantly and managed to pop after about 2 minutes, shooting internal parts everywhere.

Well mine hasn't fallen apart and it seems like if I barely try to move it, it moves better. But it locks up pretty often. How much is the Eastsheen?

Sorry to double post and all, but could someone tell me the difference between the Eastsheen A2f, the Eastsheen E2, and the Eastsheen A2?? Which one is best? Which moves best, which is larger, and I really want one with normal colors on it. Not weird pink colors lol. Thanks for any help.

I BELIEVE (key word believe) that the only difference is the packaging, not sure.

A2f = bigger stickers. A2,E2, X2 are all the same, only difference is packaging. It is the EXACT same cube. Just buy A2, or you could look at the A2f and buy that if you think it looks nicer. They all are the same size. They all move the same. They all have purple instead of orange (cubesmith sells replacements, however).

I think the difference between the A2f and A2 is a little different. I think the actual shells are a little closer together, making the gap between them smaller than the "standard" A2. I would just get either the A2 or A2f, depending on your preference.

that is what is happening to me... i have to get a ES soon

to answer the topic question, just get a new cube such as a ES or something other than rubik's brand for the 2x2 :D

but i just lubed my ice cube yesterday and i have to say it moves a lot smoother but it still locks up every once in awhile...
